01 / DEVELOPMENT
Build the brief around the wash experience.
Set the use case
Describe hair texture, routine and expected frequency of use. Specify whether the shampoo will stand alone or be sold with a conditioner so the range has a coherent purpose.
Review more than foam
Evaluate spreading, lather, rinsing and the feel after drying. If you have ingredient exclusions, share them before sampling rather than adding them at artwork stage.
Test the chosen bottle
Confirm viscosity and flow through the selected closure. Pack size, cap format and decoration all influence the commercial brief and the final quotation.
02 / PRODUCT DIRECTION
Choose a starting point.
These are directions to discuss—not fixed recipes or a promise that every requested combination is available. The final specification follows technical and commercial review.
- Daily-use shampoos
- Conditioning shampoos
- Scalp-care concepts
03 / PREPARE YOUR BRIEF
A more useful first conversation.
You do not need a finished formula to get started. Bring your priorities, reference products and the decisions you still need help making.
- Customer and hair-care routine
- Cleansing and conditioning preference
- Ingredient exclusions
- Bottle size and closure
Before you approve production
Confirm the formula, finished quantity, packaging, artwork, testing scope and delivery plan in writing. Keep the approved sample as the reference for your order.
See the manufacturing process04 / COMMON QUESTIONS
Details before decisions.
What is the MOQ for shampoo?
The starting MOQ is 500–1000 pc per SKU. Confirm the exact quantity against your formula, component availability and packaging requirements in the quotation. Custom components may have separate minimums.
Can I develop a shampoo and conditioner together?
Yes—submit them as one range brief, with a separate specification and sample approval for each product. Confirm the MOQ and packaging requirements per SKU.
What should I have ready before requesting a quote?
Share customer and hair-care routine, cleansing and conditioning preference, ingredient exclusions, bottle size and closure. Include the number of SKUs and your intended order quantity. An incomplete brief can be discussed, but the quote needs agreed specifications.
When can production start?
Production timing is confirmed after the formulation, packaging, artwork and agreed testing scope are approved. A sampling target is not a guaranteed production or delivery date.
