01 / DEVELOPMENT
Texture is a commercial decision.
Choose the sensory target
Describe the finish you want customers to experience rather than relying on a long ingredient wish list. Compare samples using the same dose and application routine.
Consider the pack early
A richer cream may suit a different closure from a fluid lotion. Assess how the selected formula dispenses, spreads and behaves in the final packaging.
Agree evidence and wording
Discuss any proposed duration, sensitive-skin or performance claims before label design. A sample’s pleasant feel does not establish a tested claim.
02 / PRODUCT DIRECTION
Choose a starting point.
These are directions to discuss—not fixed recipes or a promise that every requested combination is available. The final specification follows technical and commercial review.
- Lightweight lotions
- Rich body creams
- Fragrance-free briefs
03 / PREPARE YOUR BRIEF
A more useful first conversation.
You do not need a finished formula to get started. Bring your priorities, reference products and the decisions you still need help making.
- Light, medium or rich texture
- Fragrance and finish
- Bottle, tube or jar
- Intended claims and price point
Before you approve production
Confirm the formula, finished quantity, packaging, artwork, testing scope and delivery plan in writing. Keep the approved sample as the reference for your order.
See the manufacturing process04 / COMMON QUESTIONS
Details before decisions.
What is the MOQ for body lotion?
The starting MOQ is 500–1000 pc per SKU. Confirm the exact quantity against your formula, component availability and packaging requirements in the quotation. Custom components may have separate minimums.
Can the same lotion be offered in different fragrances?
Ask for each fragrance variant to be assessed and quoted as its own SKU. Changes can affect evaluation, artwork and component quantities, so confirm the range plan upfront.
What should I have ready before requesting a quote?
Share light, medium or rich texture, fragrance and finish, bottle, tube or jar, intended claims and price point. Include the number of SKUs and your intended order quantity. An incomplete brief can be discussed, but the quote needs agreed specifications.
When can production start?
Production timing is confirmed after the formulation, packaging, artwork and agreed testing scope are approved. A sampling target is not a guaranteed production or delivery date.
